Big Agnes Bag/Pad System

The Big Agnes System is different than the traditional sleeping bag on top of a sleeping pad. Instead, we unite the two. With Big Agnes, the pad slides into an integrated sleeve on the bottom of the bag, and the top two-thirds of the bag is insulated in the traditional style. When insulation material is compressed under your body, it loses most of its ability to insulate. We eliminate the unnecessary bottom insulation and replace it with a sleeve to accommodate the pad which provides the insulation. This design provides a secure foundation and keeps you on the pad all night.

A-Flex Construction

A-Flex™ A synthetic construction technique which combines layers of 'flexed' insulation with smaller 'anchor' pieces to connect them. The 'flexed' layers increase loft and trapped air space and the 'anchors' maximize heat containment by eliminating gapping and creating more air pockets.

A-Shingo Construction

A patented, shingle construction that utilizes an anchor system to create more trapped air space and maximize heat containment by eliminating gapping.

Dualmax

Blends synthetic insulation and goose down to yield a light weight bag with the optimum performance of both insulations. The Dualmax System places synthetic fill in a shingle construction on the outer layer to provide protection from the elements and the down fill on the inner layer to maximize user comfort.

Seamzero

Waterproof, seamless technology. Seam Zero is a completely self-contained insulation system that requires no stitching to penetrate either the outer or inner shells in order to hold your insulation system in place. This creates an exterior shield that is wind and waterproof.

Bamboo Synthetic Insulation

Eco-friendly, renewable synthetic insulation derived from bamboo charcoal that is spun into a synthetic fiber.

Short staple synthetic fiber with hollow core.

Climashield HL

Climashield is a High Loft synthetic insulation made using Climashield's advanced technology that takes thousands of continuous strands of polyester and spreads them into a naturally interlocking insulation. Continuous filament is naturally durable and stretchable. It does not require a chemical treatment to keep it together.

Climashield HL Green

Made from 100% recycled materials. Climashield is a High Loft synthetic insulation made using Climashield's advanced technology that takes thousands of continuous strands of polyester and spreads them into a naturally interlocking insulation. Continuous filament is naturally durable and stretchable. It does not require a chemical treatment to keep it together.

Primaloft Sport

PrimaLoft Sport™ (PLS): Synthetic down. Patented thermal insulation of bonded ultra-fine polyester. It's silicone coated synthetic fibers are water repellent, extremely soft, offer superior drape and compress as well as premium goose down.

Primaloft Eco

PrimaLoft™ Eco combines 50% recycled material with PrimaLoft virgin fibers to create a high loft, thermally efficient insulation. PrimaLoft Eco is lightweight and water resistant with superior softness to keep you dry and comfortable.

Thermolite Quallofil

Short staple synthetic fibers with a patented seven-hole construction.

Toray Fabric

Ultralight, high thread-count, rip-stop nylon with Kudos FP super durable water repellency technology.

WRM

Nylon microfiber rip-stop. Tightly woven, light weight and breathable. Water resistant and wind proof by construction. WR surface treatment to repel water.

I-beam Construction

I-beam construction eliminates welded seams to reduce cold spots and ensures quick inflation/deflation, consistent air flow and stability

EZ Flate™ Valve

Non-breakable brass valve with plastic coated EZ Flate mouthpiece. To use: Twist black part of valve counter-clockwise to open. Blow into valve to inflate. Hold gray portion of valve in mouth while spinning black portion clockwise to close.

DAC NSL Tent Poles

DAC poles featuring DAC's new Green Anodizing™ process and we incorporate these poles and Green Anodized J Stakes in our tent line. Tent poles are shiny and smooth because of the chemical polishing stage in the anodizing process, which requires two very toxic chemicals, phosphoric and nitric acid. DAC has perfected a better process that is safer for our environment and its employees by eliminating the need for the polishing stage and these two hazardous chemicals. Additionally, they significantly reduce waste water by recycling water throughout the rinsing process.
